Can anyone please help me i recently purchased a coolsat 6000. I installed it as the manual indicated and i am not getting any menu screen what so ever, it is just blank. I Have Double Checked All Cable Connections. Is There Something I Must Do To This brand New Unit Out Of The Box In Order To View Any Channels Off This Thing?

DC start by reading the stickys at the top of the form. Find and down load a file titled "Coolsat Receiver Manual 050226.zip" after read it you will be off and running. Well running in the mud with the rest of us that is. ack if you need anything. kc707

Also, DC... are you sure you've made the correct connections between your receiver and TV or monitor.?? what exactly do you see on the screen.?? That unit should give you a Setup menu without ANY connections other than TV....is it a clear but blank picture.?? snow.?? Give us a few more hints.

Thanks For Your Help Guys Im Still Trying, The Picture Is Completely Black/Blank No Words. I Have The AV Connectors Plugged To TV, 120 Volts To Unit. When Unit Is On It Shows 0000. When I Take Those Same AV Cables And Plug Them Into My DTV DVR Emmediately It Starts Searching For A Satelite Signal. This Is on a Seperate Dish. Shouldnt The Reciever Show A Menu As Soon As Its Connected To The TV And Power Is Applied?

Thanks DJ/ KC My Menu CAme Up. I Opened The Reciever Pressed On Plug Pin Connectors Inside, The Pwr Supply Board, Video/Mother Board And LCD. Perhaps I Had A Loose Connection On The Video Card? A Small Amount Of Resistance Can Pull The Voltage Low Enough To Where I Had No Output From Reciever To TV.
