Dear All,
I need information on the different parameters for Galaxy 10R:
LNB Type:???
LNB Local-Freq.:???
22khz:?
Skew:?
TP:???
I am using a Universal Single Linear KU LNB (ZKF-J21N). Is this LNB appropriate or should i be using another type of LNB?
I'm located in Haiti (Caribbean) and using a 6ft Channel Master Antenna. Someone in a previous post had mention that Lyngsat will give you information about what size of antenna you should be using for different location; I'll appreciate if someone can send me the link for that type of info also.
So far i'm only caching 3 channels and 1 radio which are: The research Channel, UWTV,Knowledge Network and 90.3FM (Seattle) those channels, I guess that I'm on the right satellite but could not get the other channels.
CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE

Thanks Pappapump for this quick reply,
But I might not be able to interpret some of the info from LyngSat, which is why i have made this post.
The parameters are not too clear for me. I'm using a Pansat and the information list before are what my Pansat receiver is asking me for but from looking at the Lyngsat website I’m not really sure about the answers.
If i could provide the answer as it is show in the Pansat screen (stated previously) this will make my mind more comfortable.
What about the LNB type?
The fact is that I point to the sat, made a blind scan and that is only what i got for channel and radio, something might be wrong. And my question is what?
N.B: I like that fast reply from you.

Loco.. you really need to learn how to read and find information yourself.. I understand how badly you want to get all that information, but he already gave you all the links you need to have....
If he did any more for you, then he'd be on his way over to your house to line up your dish, tune your receiver, and buy you any equipment you needed that you didn't already have.!!!!
Did you really check out the links Pappa gave you.??? I followed the first one, found the beam contour maps, which show you the signal strengths... from that you can determine teh size of dish you need... I also found what type of LNB you need.... HINT..!!! V / H vs R / L get it..!!! If that doesn't clue you in, then telling you wouldn't help.. you relaly need to read and learn before we can help you past that point.
You might also want to check out the forums for Newbies, such as Setup... True FTA, etc.. Spend a few minutes searching, and then you will be much wiser, insted of being spoon-fed....
Good Luck..!!!!!

I'll give you one more lil' hint...
Move your mouse around once you've gone to that first link Pappa gave you.... Look for "Live links".. usually highlited text or little boxes...Text will often appear, but your mouse will change to a finger.. CLICK THERE..!!!... try following them and you'll be amazed what you find...
Good Luck...

You are on the right track. UWTV comes on the strongest Transponder by far.
The other transponders are much weaker.
Transponder 1 Ku is by far the hardest to get with Eb No of 1.4 average, Cutting out during day, clear at night., Transponder 5 Ku is coming in ok with a Eb no of 4.1- 4.5 average. I tried 30" winegard, too small. This is an older bird and running quite weak. Another weak bird is AMC 3, SBS 6 and G 4R. IA 6, 7, 8, 13, G3C, G11, and G13 and AMC 4 come in great.
