Hello to all The Backhaul & Wild Feed Fans out there. Be it Auto Racing, Basketball, Football or a Network show without Commercials or almost any thing else -- This page is a list of where Backhauls and Wild Feeds are most often located. You have to keep in mind that things always change. This list is a general guide. I've been suprised before when the feed I was looking for was on the least likely or the very last satellite I had to check. If your receiver allows you to make a favorites list, it can be to your advantage to load these channel numbers on one of them and use it for searching out backhauls and wild feeds.

Newbie here, so how do I get these wild feeds and backhauls on my CS5000? I'm currently set up for 123W only. Not too familiar with working with tp's. So be kind. :) Thanks.

I was re-pointed my 33" dish from 121W to 97W yesterday. There are alot of International channels on 97W. Some channels signal are very weak, guest I have to go out to fine tune the dish later this evening.

Mas it depends on your location, I've recently repointed to t5 (or ia5 or whatever it's called now) and while some channels are at 70-75, others are at 25-30 (and I can't fine tune it any more than it already is). But the quality even with 25-30 doesn't suffer, yes it might get choppy in a big thunderstorm, but I'm sure you could handle a few minutes of 'pixel-vision' :).

No you will not find a lot of wild feeds on 123°w; there are a lot of network channels there. I find most wild feeds on 72, 74, 85, 89, 91 and 93°w when you lock on a signal do a blind scan.

There is a good Cart feed on right now of the Edmonton grand prix on 72°w on TP: 12139H SR:18000 there are 6 feeds of in car cameras.

I did fine tune the dish, and I got my channels come in clear, but like you said the singal is great, but quality is very low.

Today I happened to catch a local ABC affilliate in Tallahassee on G10R. Commercial breaks had a black screen. Before break was over, video would come back showing newspeople or weather people combing there hair, adjusting their clothes etc. Screen goes black again for a few seconds then the actual program comes in. Fun stuff to watch! Would this be considered a wildfeed or a backhaul?

Yes that sounds like a wild news feed, you can pickup a lot of feeds like that on sat 93°w (IA6) between 4:00 and 6:00 pm when the local and national news is on.

Thanks for this post. It will help me decide where to point my second dish next weekend.
