Quick question for the experienced ones out there? I've got an opened rom3 card and am using blocker/3m activation. I'm using nagrablocker7. Everything works great. Thanks for the help so far. I was wandering if the card can take an ECM while I am watching the satellite, or does the receiver have to be off and in the stream to take an ECM. It seems that the receiver has to be off and in the stream to take an update and I was just checking to see if same applies to ECM. I have a subbed receiver and one I test with. As soon as I turn off the test receiver I unplug satellite cable and plug into subbed receiver, therefore my test card is never in the stream with the ird turned off. AM I safe from ECM's this way? Thanks for any comments!

youre never safe from testing lol, once a ecm inters the stream it stays for sometime, so when you detach cable from ird to the other it doesnt matter youre still vulnerable to a hit...plastic is working well as of now all avrs were hit except the guardian..in most units...as long as the reciever is plugged into the at we are all vulnerable to ecms from charlie...
