I know that I need linear LNB but I don't what is the range of uplink and downlink I need in LNB. Please provide me what exact LNB I can buy it to Catch FTA from Intelsat 805. Thank you very much in advance.

Respected Sir,

Actually I don't know what to use with LNB or LNBF to catch C-Band.
But, I am trying to use Dish network 500 dish and Pansat 2700 reciever to catch Intelsat 805 satellite which is C-band. Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

look in lyngsat.com ,there is a map that shows what size dish you need for your location

most need a 10 foot dish

some areas can pick up digital c-band with a 4 foot dish

lnbf has the feed horn built in

lnb attaches to the feed horn

also look in the link h**p://skyvision.com

they deal in mostly c-band so you can view there site and see what's involved in c-band

You will not be able to use a dish 500 to recieve c band signals. I would recommend at least a 6 foot dish and even that is marginal. While I have decent results with my 6 foot dish, most will tell you that you really need an 8 or 10' dish for reliable c band reception.

LNB-KU and dish 31" to 36"
Sorry, but that is not going to work to get C-Band signals.
