Why is the remote for my Classic NA so bad? I mean i have to be right next to the damn reciever to get the channel to change... Its a pain. I have couches but am forced to lie on the ground and its killing me. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem.. and whether there is a solution.

Thanx
J

HI!

Try a pansat 2500 or a fortec ultra remote it might work for for that receiver.

First of all I the remote is a piece of s***. And it is made very cheaply. That being said, I remember a post similar to this about a month ago and someon said that a Hughes model remote can replace the remote that came with it. I don't recall the model of the remote though.

i ve had the same pbm but with my tv
I wondered if it was the remote or from the tv
I tested my remote it was OKay
then i opened the tv and just pressed and tightened the "lamp " or "light receiver" - which receives the signals from the remote - inside the tv
after that it's okay.

Note:
u can test your remote by pressing any button while it's in front of a simple radio. put the radio on AM waves and turn the tuner - pressing the remote repeately- until u hear the sound of the remote in the radio . That means that the remote is okay, open your receiver and check if there;s no loose

Good luck guy
