I guess nobody wants to help in this matter. I will continue on and work on this. I understand, the 500 support is gone, but I know someone has info on what was asked above. Thanks

check all your connection on your TV, receiver, diSeq switch all the way to your dish....it is usually a bad or wrong connection somewhere...also update your keys mannuelly...all my channels just started to work? before only a few worked (thats after changing to the latest key a couple weeks ago!) I had problems like that and it is usually a bad connection. Don't give up and oh yea!

Also check your setting on the installation screen:
Positoin --
LNB Freq. 11250
LNB Power On
22KHz Off
0V/12V 0V
Tone Burst Off
DiSEqC ? ( how ever you got it set up..A = 1, B = 2 ...ect)

if that don't work then disconnect your DiSEqC and find each bird indivually.
and see if your switch is ok....the start replacing a cable at a time..sometimes if the RG6 cable isn't rated for outdoor use it will break down due to UV light and the weather....good luck!
