I'm on BEV, and recently (within two or three days) I've been getting pauses in video playback, but only when my AVR3 board is in. Works fine without. Keys are up to date. It seems almost like a video buffering issue in the sense that it will play normally, cut out, then resume in frequent (7 or 8 second) intervals.
Also noticed the regular subscription channels will stay open and the PPV's will lose video. That started a few weeks ago.
I've done hard resets of the reciever, cleared NVRAM (still have access to the memory test/dump), redone the AVR board a couple of times with EEPEDIT, and still get problems. Any ideas would be appreciated.

it uses 8515 for decryption - takes +/- 40 seconds to perform a decrypt, recently they also boosted the stream.

so avr only processing packets they want to process card process 100% of all packets they(avr's) process 02 only sometimes it's fast enough sometimes is not, when not it will black out for xx second until 02 is complete and next cmd comes through
by the way S card can decrypt 00 or 02 in 350ms.

Is there any possible way I can boost the processing gain on the card? Perhaps with some form of overclock? Or am I better off going up to an AVR4 board?

At this time as far as i know/heard avr4 will not work either, this may be the end of the avr for that system anyway. Charlie needs to take care of the rom2 prior to executing similar speeds of the data. There may be a next gen. of avr's that will follow those speeds, code's have to be re-written.
