How are you loading the new bin into your 5000 receiver? I use the 6000HXC (similar to your 5000HC) and put a copy of the new bin (un-zipped) in the firmware folder of the receiver hard drive via the USB cable from my PC. After that I did the software upgrade from HDD on my receiver and then set all the antenna settings. It did take a while for the picture to come in the first time after loading the new bin but everything is now working good.

I tried both usb and nul still scambled :blink:

Here is a suggestion, which is probably applicable to all fta.First, reset your
unit to factory settings.Second, Load, the factory bin from Pansat(I am not sure of your version code).Third, flash the receiver with the most recent
bin file.Fourth, perform the blind scan for all the birds you have.
Fourth, open a can of the cold one and enjoy the fruits of your labour.Cherers! :beer:
