What you need is to reflash your receiver with NORW 1.23 bin file , make sure to do a factory reset (default),re enter all info in antenna set up and scan

megasat 4000 works great with new bin 123 right over old fix......but what about megasat 2700xl? anyone know where to find a bin for it?

the latest fix before 123 would be what? I am useing coolsat 1.10

:o :o if you load any bin above 1.10 from norw will put your box to sleep,do yourself a favor since this boxes cant be "updated" with any other bin above norw1.10 save a few bucks and go for pansat 2700,3500 etc.

Correct me if I am wrong. The Digisat 4000 Pro and the Megasat 4000 Pro are the same receiver. The only thing different about them is the name. If you can load the Megasat 4000 Pro why not the Digisat 4000 Pro? I've also heard something about modding these to a Pansat clone. Any information on that?

I've beed told by the person who installed it for me that I have a Megasat Receiver, but there's no name on it. So i'm taking his word for it, it says 4000 pro, and i've lost (scrambled) ppv, ppv sporting events, spanish channels, mtv, etc.

What can i do to get those channels to work again?

the bin your looking for is not yet out coo coo4000pr megasat 4000 digisat cooltec and others used the same bin but is not out there yet.

Can anyone else verify. I heard the 1.23 file will cause these recievers to keep rebooting. Megasat 4000 Pro

I have same problem. load 1.23, the receiver keep rebooting. I think because all those receiver ( cooltec, megasat, coocoo ) are the clone of coolsat. the software will crash on different hardware. hope they release safe bin soon.

Those who say it worked. Are you sure you are running a megasat 4000 pro or a digisat 4000 pro? I knoted you stated you installed it after the last fix before the 1.23. That fix will cause the reciever to got in to a sleep mode that can also only be fixed with a Jtag. I'm a newbie to this forum, but I have been testing FTAs for awhile. I would not recomend putting this file on the clones. Read my post in the Pansat thread about FTAs might be going. I pulled an artical off of another site and it is looking like there will be some magor ECMs coming our way. The best advice I can give is to buy a real reciever like Pansat, Coolsat, etc. I've saved money on my clones but have put alot of time into them. My two cents...... Testers, please post or pm me your feedback if you dissagree, you can never get to much information.

P.S ken6622 what file is that? 1.30 bin file? Does that work on a megasat 4000 pro? Will that bin make you see all the channels, ppv, mtv, univision, etc?

Thank you Antonio1222. I went to the sites you pointed out and download the new bin: CC_123_M.STB. It worked!!!

I installed it on my CooCoo 4000 Pro (2nd generation with 1.10 factory bin) and.... It worked. Everything is up and running: PPV, Premiums, Networks, Sports Channels, Adult... all of it.
Finally a fix!

I keep reading about 2nd gen megasat pro's and 3 and 5 button and rechipped boxes,how do i kbow if this new bin will work on mine Pro, how do you know if you have a 2nd generation box.


So many questions, but only one solution.....Am I confused lol

The first thing I would try.

Go to the menu screen and the system information. Not sure about the first Gen but the second generation will tell you the Norw file it is running.


Second: (or if connected to the PC already)

Hook up the reciever to the computer and open the Coolsat loader.
Click on connect, it will then tell you what it is connected to. Example: "connected to 1.10" If it says "connected to 1.01" I would think it would be safe to say it is a first gen box. Second generation boxes were I believe made after the NorW 1.01 file was released. I would think that, that box would have been loaded with the latest file at the time.
If it says it is a 1.10 file it is a second gen box.

Hope this helps, forgive me for bounseing around on this post, I'm 3 seconds from hitting the sack...

But thx to everybody who did some testing and research as well, thx to you all and especially the team who created the bin file for us, thank you very much we greatly appreciate it :).

P.S I've already put the bin file and it works like a charm, the only thing that will suggest though is when i had autoroll on it actually froze my picture and stuff....i would suggest disabling that option if it happens to you.
