I just set up my dish with a Coolsat 6000 on Echo 6/8. Everything works perfect but the program guide only shows about the first 2 hours then it has no information.

I'm wondering, is it possible to get the program guide to actually have the whole guide and not just a couple hours?

lol , well its not really funny but i have a CS6k and i have bine looking all over for how to get it more then 2hours long. I haven't got it to work. so hopefully you'll have more luke then me.

If you want the guide to roll longer, just go to guide and put it on channel 9945 leave it there for 5 10 minutes and your guide will populate much longer.you will see no information changing to whatever is on other channels..you can scroll up or down or to a later time and see this..just stay on 9945..9410 also works.

Yup, Woofy is correct. Put it on 9410, Link TV and it'll build your guide for a lot longer. Leave it on for a full 10 minutes, you'll have it all.

I found 9945 worked much better than 9410 or 100.

when you do the 9945 or 9410 does this fix the epg forever or do u have to do it everyday, couple of hours etc.???

Do it when you want to see what's on further down in the week...like if you want to see if next thursdays Smallville is new or a repeat. Each day doesn't hurt.

I just tried the 9945 and that works great.

is there any way to set the yellow "dish epg" button to 9945? it does work alot faster than the other ones.

I don't think so no. would be handy though.
