also, since i have not seen the cs6000 in action, i can only say that the 5000 is a really good set and about $50 cheaper.

i forgot to mention the extended epg on the 6000, on my 5000 i can get about 24 to 36 hours in advance. the extended epg is not that big of a deal for me since i have a pvr unit.

I have a 501 but I have not been able to program it for some time now. What type of pvr do you have and what are you using to program it. Thanks!!!
