Hi I just got a new Orasat v3 reciever and started to play with it. I was able to hook it up to my satalite and get (what seems like) most of the channels from the Echostar 6/8 and Echostar 7 satalites. However I'm missing a few channels like MTV, and GSN to name a few. I read on these forums about a bin file with the chanel listing, however it says its for Orasat v5 and when I try and load it using the MVisionE+ utls program it gives an error.

Anyways my question to you is: is there a bin or other type of file that has the channel listings for the echostar satalites? (specifically a listing for Echostar 7)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK some progress, I found that using the Orasat loader Mvisione+UTL I could get satalite channel listings from the net. This seems promissing, but the sats I want (Echostar6/8,Echostar7) arn't in the pull down menu. The program gives an option to enter the degrees of a new satalite to get its info, however it only accepts a two digit number for degrees and the echostar satalites are both in the 1** degrees.

Does anyone know a way to get the program to reconginize these two satalites? Or at least where on the net the program is drawing the data from?

Hey patrickc10, thanks for the reply sorry to hear about your box. I've also had some problems with my box, just some minor freezing while in the menus, but its enough to get anoying. Anyways hope things work out for you, and I hope I can get some of these problems ironed out.

the current bin file for v3.0 was actual a test file; the fix for certain issues was almost done then personnel and management changing to cause the delay of releasing the file but i do expect the fix be out end of next week; as soon as the file is available and tested i will upload and update what we have. there will be a lot of big pushes for refining orasat products but it won't be full swing until the completion of management transfer process. as i always do, will try to push them for the better orasat. thank you, patrick:beer:

Ok. you click on the mainFW-Down Tool Zip in the link and it asks if you want to open or save you then save to your computer, You download to your computer, then you click on it to open it and the sign up page shows up! It is a zip file, Do you have winzip on your computer? Even if you don't have winzip it would come up and say how do you want to open this file, not the sign up page. When did you register? I think there is a period when you can't download.
