Just got my CW-600S today. I downloaded loader CW-v1.04 and Summer 1.59
from this site. I followed the directions in the guide but the bin will not load. It stays stuck on 0%. I re-set the receiver to factory default setting after receiving it. It was a used unit. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

check your comm port setting. could be the cable.

Thanks DSS Max, I've tried 2 laptops and 1 desktop and still nothing. I have checked the com ports and they were all set at com1. I used the RS232 cable that I use all the time to load my Fortec and it doesn't work. The RS232 cable that came with the CW-600S doesn't work either. If anyone can please provide any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. :sad:

make sure it is a null modem cable. before you start the download make sure you have --:-- is on the display by turning off the power with the front panel buttom.

Apparently my problem is that my cable is a straight thru RS232C and not Null Modem. I guess I was sent the wrong cable with the box. I'll post my results after I buy a Null Modem. Thanks! :(

try putting it in boot mode. when you turn it on from the back hold the power button down

Used a Null Modem adaptor from Radio Shack, connected it to one end of RS232C straight thru cable, then plugged the adaptor into laptop serial port, and BINGO!!! Problem solved. Thanks to everyone for their help!
