**to down load a file to a brand new orasat v5**
to down load a bin file to your orasat is easy, as long as you follow these simple steps
*you need to use the "downloader", an updater for orasat and the current working bin file. you can get it from here

* you need to extract all the files before you can use it. you can use either winzip, winrar, or winace to decompress the files
***down load bin file to orasat*****
*-using null modem serial cable connect your orasat to
computer serial port with the orasat power switch off
1-using mouse left key, double clicks on "downloader"
2-open the bin file(select the bin)
**if using windows xp, all the setting no need to adjust,
ortherwise, serial port=com port 1.
3-click on "start"
4- turn the orasat power switch on(in back panel)
5- turn the power switch off when you see "success" on
your computer screen.
*- unplug every thing, connect to your lnb cable and do routine lnb configuration
this is the setup for dishpro twin lnb(big bulky one) on dish 500
***dishpro twin lnb setup**
>either cable from lnb go directly to orasat lnb in port
**receiver satellite setup & lnb configuration**
1-language=enghlish...."all with remote control"
2-press menu button
3-scroll to install, press ok
4-scroll to satellite collection, press ok
5-enter 0000
6-with channel down button, scroll to echo 6,8
7-press volume key
8-press ok
9-use channel up/down, scroll to echo 7
10-press volume key
11-press ok

11-press green(audio) key
12-scroll to echo 6,8
13-press ok
14-lnb type = standard or dishpro(dishpro give u some unknow
local channels)
15-high l.o = 11.250 ghz
16-low l.o = 0
17-lnb power = on
18-diseqc = blank
19-press exit
1-use channel down scroll to echo 7
2=press ok
3-lnb type = standard
4-high l.o = 11.250 ghz
5-low l.o = 0
6- lnb power = on
7-diseqc = blank
8-press exit
>press red (recall) button on r. mote control
>scroll down to satellite
>use volume key, scroll to echo 7
>press ok, scanning....
after done scanning echo 7, press ok
>press exit
>press red(recall) key
>scroll down to satelite
>use volume key, scroll to echo 6,8
>press ok, scanning........
the above setup is for dishpro twin lnb, if you have 2 dishpro lnb? just connect 110' echo 6,8 to port 1 and 119' echo 7 to port 2 on diseqc switch, and change the above diseqc= blank to 1 and 2. please, follow step by step, relax yourself and do it slowly. have fun testing:beer:
