having problems with my 4000, worked this morning. then turn it of and on and no channels work. deleted all channels and did a auto scan. full signal and quality, EPG works with the information showing. but "scramble" channels. Anyone else ???

Mine is down too. I loaded 112 and it worked for a bit and now the channels are scrambled. Do we just have to wait for the auto roll?

You guys are confusing me ! My CS4K Pro has not skipped a beat today. I have been through all the PPVs, all the HBOs, SHOWtimes, etc.........Everything !! Not even a hiccup !! ( KNOCK ON WOOD) !!!

both my 5k and 4k had newer bins both had autoroll enabled:)

ok nevermind auto roll is still good, checked other receiver and it works with auto roll on, checked keys to see if they were the ones that were posted and they match, guess you just have to wait for the auto roll to slowly get the keys.

did you check to see what keys are in use on your working coolsat vs. the one that is black ?:huh:

Running 113 for 24 hrs. Some channels are scrambled. Some channels bad or no signal. Most of PPV is in. Any help with the signal or the scrambled channels would be greatly appreciated.

my auto roll 113 on 5k and 112 on 4k works fine for dave but nimiq is not auto rolling, however on pansats using the 143 bin for 2700a's it's rolling beautifully. I hate testing some times. Love it all others.

I have autoroll turned on w/ my 4k and it works fine. Not sure which bin I have think it's 112. Every now and then it will come up with the "scramble channel" Just turn it on and off via the remote and it kicks back into gear.

i have a coolsat 4k pro with 112 bin , what i did i loaded a new channel list , turned on tp update , then rescan all the sattelites , 110,119,121,....,then i reloded the 112 bin , turned off the tp update ,everything s running with the autoroll on , so this way i have at least two transponders for the same channel , when they switch transponders i just switch the channel, if they go to more than two tp, u still can rescan to find the third one , anyway that s the way i did and it s up all time , hope this will help.

I have a 110 bin still on it and when I turned mine on Sat nite it went on for abt 5 secs,and then scramble channel....did signal check and fine 96+ for both heads...Did a auto scan for both and then shut off coolsat5000 and away she went

I was watching mine, and had NO hiccups. After he restored his power to all his stereo,dvd, guitar amp, cd player, etc. all the sh*t he has in his room, he came up w/ "scramble".
Immediately, he started raising hell !! "How come you have TV and I don't"?

I went downstairs.......reached around to the back of his receiver, and powered it off. I looked him in the eye and said, "Watch This" !
Turned the PWR SW. on, took the remote from his hand, pressed the PWR-ON button,........... and POOF, 5 seconds later HE had audio and video !!
WOW !!!

In a VERY serious note, I have perused a bunch, (more than one !), sites, and this one seems to have the most helpful info, the most congenial, people that are not either "Whining", or putting someone down for asking a Q, that may, or may not have been answered in previous posts. Most of the "Old-Hats", point the newer people to a thread, or give direct, to-the-point info for what some would consider "dumb" questions.

Remember, the statement........."Ignorance Is Bliss" ??

Ignorance, and Blissfulness are entirely TWO different things. Mentors, of which there are a bunch on this site, only lead to creating grateful people that will, in turn try and help someone else.
Is that not why this site was created ? What's the politically correct term, "Pay It Forward" ??

If anyone ever leaves this site with issues that have not come to fruition, then they have either not READ enough, or not paid attention to the help given.

I heard a rumor that autorolling is not working last night i have to turn autoroll off on my 2 CS 5000 plat to be a ble to watch tv everytime i turn it on it will roll the key and everything goes scramble so try to turn autoroll off and it might work for ya also

yea it will work when i turn it off and on then no more scramble. but later on in the day 119 will work for couple seconds than freeze up?

The autoroll for bin 110 on my CS4K finally crashed and burned for DN sometime last night. Tried powering down and rebooting the receiver, tried a factory reset and a rescan of the birds, no luck. I've got the autoroll turned off right now and the keys manually entered. I'll leave it that way for awhile and make sure it's really gone. And if it is, after an appropriate period of mourning, I'll get on with my testing life, let go of 110, and flash a new bin to my reciever.

I just happened to be up at 6:30 AM (EST) watching TV. At exactly 6:53 AM, the keys rolled, and everyting went "Scramble". I said OH Sh**! What now ??

Shut power off, (rear switch), for about 30 seconds..........powered up and sat on the same channel I was watching when it crapped. Between 5-7 minutes, Auto-Roll did it's thing and Poof! Everything is back !

Patience is a virtue ! If you are not virtuous,........be more patient !

Auto-Roll works on the 1.11 BIN for the CS 4000 Pro.

If Charles is screwing with us like the northern lady, then our NORW_BUDDIES will most certainly be on top of it!
