I have downloaded with success the bin that was stated for the dp 500. I am getting echo 8 but getting "no signal" or "scrambled" on echo 7. It downloaded without problems. My settings were diseq "auto" and lnb type "osd-dp". I have switched the sw1 dish 1 etc. setting to "none". They allow you to choose "sw44 dish 1, sw 21 dish2, etc"
I have a straight line from the dish to the receiver.
Any suggestions to use the dp 500 since it already has the built in sw21? i would also like to add the 91w to it.
I can do so separately either the dp 500 or a separate dish with the 91 but not both. thanks:beer: :beer:
In the past, I have placed the echo 8 on diseq 2 and echo 7 diseq 1 when running a line to the ird.

check another sat in your setup menu (if diseq is correct then you should get both 110 and 119

to add 9! you will need to add a 4 x 1 diseq

119 side of 500/pro to 4 x 1
110 side of 500/pro to 4 x 1
9! to 4 x 1

No, captiveworks is a new receiver. I just bought the captiveworks 600s, it has a great epg! I use it with my dish 1000, pulling in 110,119,129.

If you have a dp 500 and DP twin LNB
SAT =119W
LNBFreq = 11.250
DISEqC = LNB1
Legacy SW = off
LNB type =OCS -DP
Since TP 1 (12.224 V)is a spot beam try TP 2 and check yr signal strenght
