is this possible? I got 301-10 with rom102 on it..after about 3 weeks in stream..I pulled the card out to replace with rom10.. the ird said "invalid card type" is this mean the card (rom102) married to the ird (like DTV)? so do I need to remodd the tsop to have it run with rom10? my other irds with rom10 running..I can swab out the card anytimes...just curious about this rom102!!!

Rom 10 is different...different modded tsop than the 102 and 101.....

actually if you have the 0A tier off of the subbed rom102 card the rom10 will work if you use gendt08sk and open your rom102 bin file and create a rom10 patch then open n2edit and open the rom102 bin and look at your 0A tier then change these lines in the rom10 patch...

the numbers here are you 0A/dt08 code take your rom102 0A code which looks like this:

use the red numbers located in the 0A code and replace the blue numbers in the cmd 08 code make sure you add zeros to the end to make the last line a full 16 byte line basicly just add zeros untill the last line is even with the rest and then load your rom10to102 bin get everything set and apply the gendt08 patch file write bin and it will work tried with three different boxes that had the 0A code and all worked with this added step but not without...

ok this is a old post so i dont think he mind if i ask a question to " mwtdmt "confirm somthing . i have a 3000 ird with the exsub card in it i open the 102 with the t911 and have the image and extract the 0A code and make a path wtih this GenDT08_SK_V2_3 , so what u mean is if i apply this patch in the running rom10to102 bin it should work in 3000 with there own boxkeys and ird no. no tsop mod require . just confirming thankx.

NO..it's not going to work...rom10to102 is for modd tsop..do the seard for "exsub activation" you might able to find information how to activate your exsub....I never play with model 1000/2000/300 before (no jtag)..so can tell you if it work..but most likely..if it's a exsub with rom101/102 you might able to reactivate it...(since no modd tsop require for exsub)
