Okay, I have been reading and reading and there are so many different ways or different people with differnt opinion out there.

I just wanted to know from someone experienced and who has what I have and done it and worked perfectly, if somebody can answer these for me. I really appreciate it.

First, I finally popped my card and successfully glitched - intercept.

I am able to read the card in N2EditBeta7. It's Rom102 Rev.105 but I will clean the codespace and write it back to go back to rev.103.

Secondly, I got all the instructions and I am ready to flash my PVR-501 and do the TSOP mod.

What I have. Currently subscribed Rom102 which I took it out from 4900 and I wanted to use it on my PVR-501 receiver so that I can use PVR function.

I will use the Fake Boxkeys and IRD and flash my receiver and program it.

Now, what do I need to do to program my Rom102?

Do I just put the 3m on there and put the fake boxkeys and IRD# or do I need to do more?

Thanks.

Never used one for a 501 but the write to the card is the same process for all receivers...

1. Card Tab....Read the card

2. File Tab.......Open Image......the 3M or whatever you are putting on the card

3. Tools Tab....clean codespace

4. Tools Tab....Apply any patches you will use...blocker... locals... unless these are already written into the 3M

5. Card Tab....write to card

These are very easy to do just be sure if you use anything with a password that you remember it so you can get back into the card

Chuck,

Thanks for the info but what about the boxkeys and IRD#???

Should I use the same as I used for my receiver (fake IRD and Box keys) or leave it blank or ???

Thanks.

You dont input ird and boxkey info onto the card.....just redo the ird with the needed info.
