I am hoping to use my existing DTV Plus dish with two LNBs coming out of it (one LNB on 101 and the other on 119) with my new Coolsat 5000. It looks like a 4x4 multi-switch on the back of the dish (I have 3 receivers in the house with DTV service). Is this possible? I have already flashed the CS 5K with the lastest firmware, but am not getting any channels when I do autoscan? It shows RED signal strength (85-88%) when I choose Echostar 119. I simply disconnected one of my DTV receivers and plugged CS 5K in its place. Do I have to realign the dish/use the DiseqC switch? Thank you.

Look into a quad pro LNB.. can get one for $20 on ebay or so. When I first setup my dish i was getting channels with 88% strength. I got the quad pro and my strength bumped to 93%. Not sure if it was due to new lnb or if i happened to change the angle slightly when replacing the lnb.

Then again.. I do not know much about this stuff yet .. still a newbie
