happy new year everyone!

I have an ariza 700, i put the 263 bin file, the n2 shows on the menu, i manually put the new keys in 09 01 for provider, EMU set to on. All i get are the radio stations and black screens for TV which says "Scrambled or bad channel".

Can anyone help ?

What do u mean by the n2 shows on the menu? Are you talking about the extension of the bin file uploaded to the receiver?

apparently, the keys are supposed to auto roll on it's own.

When I downloaded bin263 it says Nagravision 2 came up so you can manually put the keys in, which i did and still nothing.

No, haven't gotten this to work before, just got it yesterday and ditto on the running it over with the car!

I will for sure keep you posted if I fix it. I too have spoken with others from different sites. here is what one person wrote, might help you. It did nothing for me:

\.i also just loaded my ariza700 yesterday. What I did is loaded the bin, power scanned my B** & D*** sats goto parental screen type in info 2004 set emu on set default key's.....goto a D*** channel wait till key's update and picture comes in, then goto a B** channel(if using) let key's update until picture comes in...(make sure to go into user setup and set time zone and clock in order for the epg to work properlly

Hope this help

im confused. Correct me if im wrong. You uploaded the bin file to your receiver and it automatically says Nagravation 2?

I uploaded the bin file and i had to go to parental control to input the keys. No where did i see nagravation 2. Do u input the keys in nagravations 1 or 2?

What keys are u using?

Clerify ...

The posting u pasted....i did exactly that however im a bit confused as too what b*** & D*** sat means. It also never worked.

anyhow
Thanks,

also what bin file did u use again?

Ok i have figured it out.......partially...

It all depends on what your trying to view. Are you looking to view north american channels or international channels?

I finally got mine to work, however i can only view internaitonal channels. Thats what i purchased the receiver for. I can view international channels on SATELLITE Echo 3/Ku.

Now your trying to view channels on SATELLITE T-5/ku, which if im correct are american channels. I cant get those either. i think its b/c i dont have the dish pointed in the dictection, or i need another satellite or prong.

What type of dish do u have. And what direction do u have it pointed in? Also how many LNB's do u have on it?

these are my settings:

Satellite: Echo 3/ku - (Changed network from T-5ku)
TP: 12311 v 20.00
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Local-Freq: 11250
22khz OFF
DiSEqC: OFF
Positioner Settings: Disable

Level: 84%
Quality: 44%

System Information:

AA-1
API ver: 2.63 e_EU(N)
Boot ver: 1.1
17.Dec.2005

The BIN FILE allows the receiver to work on both network T-5ku and Echo 3/ku. Which i know this doesnt apply to u, but your looking to view channels on T-5ku, and i would like to get those as well. I believe i cant get them b/c im missing either the proper dish or the prong/LNB to get it.

I purchased a dishnetwork satellite with the intention of getting international channels, I was not aware when i purchased Ariza receiver that most people get it for american channels. The person who sold me this said, i could receive the international channels. However after speaking with some experts i can also get american channels if i add a dish or prong/lnb - im still confused about this part.

I know this look confusing im just trying to give u a background of what i was told.

Anyhow, basically what im trying to say is, are u sure that u have the right dish, or the right coordinates?

I was confused b4 because i was looking for international channel "RTP" and i was looking on the network T-5ku but i found out late last night that it doesnt air on T-5ku but on Echo 3/ku. So i proscaned the network Echo 3/ku for its channel and then it immediately unlocked my channels.
However when i switched back to satellite T-5ku i was getting the "scrambling or bad channel" message even after i scanned it. And i think im still getting that error b/c i dont have the proper dish or its not pointed in the right coordinates for satellite T-5ku.

Basically i have been looking on the wrong network the whole time for international channels.

However now im interested on getting Satellite T-5ku to work, so im gonna do some research to find out what i need to get that to work.

I have hunch that u may not have it pointed correctly, or the right dish. But i could be wrong. I wont know for sure until i point it in the coordinates for Satellite T-5ku and follow the same steps i did for Echo 3/ku.

What is the name of the dish u purchased and what are the coordinates?

Anyhow i know half this doesnt apply to u but some of it does and it can maybe help u get yours to work. When u get the chance reply back.

Thanks,

mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for you help.

I still haven't fix it but I am getting closer. The T-5 is not what I am looking for so I had to change that to Nimiq 1/ku.....I'm trying to get BEV channels.

I see.....well let me know when u do. Im learning as i go along. I wasnt looking for T-5ku either. I was actually looking for Echo 3/ku. I now know the difference.

Maybe u can answer this; in order to see these different networks, t-5ku, Echo 3/ku, Nimiq 1/ku, etc...etc...do u need a different dish for each network? Pointing in each direction?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, you need a dish for each.

I FINALLY got it to work but I really can't tell you what I did. I changed the satellite type, did a scan, it wasn't working then all of a sudden...boom, it worked!!!

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out. As I said, I was trying to get BEV so I'm not too familiar with the ones you are looking into getting.

I am trying to send you a pm but I am unable to. Can you turn it on so I can send you one?
