I am new I will admit and i am having a time learning the new terms.
I have searched and I have looked everywhere, FtA etc...
I received the 5000 today.
I am looking forward to watching TV, but I a do not understand how to begin.

I have read the manual that came with the receiver. I have 18" dish that was on Dish Network satelite single LNB, I have another that was pointed somewhere else that i watching Northern TV before it was scrambled.

Do I need a "card" do I need to use my computer to change something and if so where do I find the download.

I do not mean to ask "again" something that is already know. I just cannot find it.

A question I might ask is the posted Keys for Dish are they to be used in my system Coolsat 5000? Entered manually?

if you are useing the 110 bin ( the latest) they auto roll . meaning when the keys in the stream change your coolsat picks up the new keys and changes them for you ! if you enter channel 8282 on your remote you will see the keys
in use and can compair then to the ones posted
