For those of you that are loosing your tv due to firmware updates on your 2700 2800 or 3800. Try this to fix your tsops. This is new I haven't tested. I do not have a 2700 here to test. Just passing this information along. Thanks phantom

Here you go just save this as a .fs script and run it in flashedit beta 4

My family accepted the firmware update by mistake, and I flash the old one back 834-P and still working.

... firmware updates on your 2700 2800 or 3800. Try this ...

Pretty sure you meant to say 3700 here, not 3800. 3700=2800, 3800=3900/4700/4900 Outside of that, the fix you posted works. Kind of funny Charlie would put out new firmware, and within about 24 hours we know how to alter it so his countermeasure is no longer functional. Got to love it. Poor Charlie has got to be hating life about now.

Here is the new .fs file for the 2700/2800/3700 p834. Just open FlashEdit+2.1 and open your p834 TSOP that you had written previous. Once it is open then patch this .fs file. You need to place the .fs in the same folder as the FlashEdit.exe file. Then simply write the new patched flash to your receiver and your good to go. Cheers
