I try on Orasat 3.., when turn power on I try to press 6969, It not go to screen code edit. Screen stay on CH6969 with black screen. Maybe I miss some thing or Oraset 3.0 can not edit key code. Please show me how to get screen code edit. Thank you very much.:wub: :wub: :wub: :wow: :wow: :wow:

2007 Revised Code Entry Procedure. Procedure for 3.0 is also included. I have also attached this procedure in a Word Document.

ORASAT 5.0

Autoroll cannot be turned off. This procedure will allow you to enter keys, but if there is a Key change you will have to reenter if autoroll is not working

With Bin 1.238 The code entry lines have changed again. I listed procedures for all files and the last one is for 1.238 and above. This is for dish.

Scroll down to provider you are looking for. These listings are for dish and you will see the providers name listed above the codes.


For Bins below 1.228

Scroll down to the line you are looking for hit okay and it will bring up code entry screen

First key to enter in the code screen is the index key 10 for 10, 20 for 20 etc

Scroll down to Line 9 (Index 10) Hit okay. Using 00 (86) keys enter the first 8 keys here then ok

Scroll down to Line 10 (Index 20) Hit okay. enter the next 8 keys here then ok. Hit exit and they will update

Key 01 (96) keys go in Line 11 (Index 11) and Line 12 (Index 21)

REMEMBER The first numbers to enter are the Index number 10 for 10, 20 for 20, etc

Take your time and make sure the keys are correct


09-12-06 FOR BIN 1.228 to BIN 1.237

Code edit screen now shows keys. Edit lines have changed to numbers 29,30,31,32. If you need to enter keys for this bin they go here now. Older bins remain the same as above.

Line 29 (Index 10) Line 30 (Index 20) Key 00 (86) Go in these lines. Make sure you hit okay after entry. After entering both lines hit exit and they will update.

Line 31 (Index 11) Line 32 (Index 21) Key 01 (96) Go in these lines. Make sure you hit okay after entry. After entering both lines hit exit and they will update.

02-13-07 FOR BIN 1.238 to 1.247

Entry procedure is the same. The Edit lines the codes are on have changed to 3,4,5,6.

Line 3 (Index 10) and line 4 (Index 20) Key 00 (86) Go in these lines. Make sure you hit okay after entry. After entering both lines hit exit and they will update.

Line 5 (Index 11) and line 6 (Index 21) Key 01 (96) Go in these lines. Make sure you hit okay after entry. After entering both lines hit exit and they will update.

If needed on the 3.0 Autoroll can be turned off Hit Menu, Highlight Options, Enter 9999, Scroll to options, Hit okay, Scroll to Nagra Card and Emu, Turn off. Remember to turn back on if you have a functioning Autoroll File. Thanks go to indianguy for the information on how to turn A/R off

Key Index 00 is for Key 0 There are two lines for this code. 8 Keys per line

Key Index 01 is for Key 1 There are two lines for this code. 8 Keys per line

Scroll to first line hit OK, this brings up the keypad.

Enter keys, Hit OK

Go to next line enter the next set. Hit Ok, Exit out. Watch TV
