On a very dark Blue (or black board) T911 I think I crapped out the ST232 where the pot connects.
I lowered the pot resistance to 0 ohms. Before I could vary the pot and change the 6F's and resets now only get rests.
Pin 4 is at 10V Pin 7 is an output and I can't follow the board traces we enough to see where its tied. If I crapped out the final connection.
What type of signal would I see at pin 7?
Does a Max232 replace the ST232? I have these left from emulation boards from Dtv.
Thank You

If you adjusted the pot to where you had a dead short.... you killed the loader more than likely.... would hafta have someone look at it that knows their stuff to find out for sure.... but thats what it sounds like to me..... hope not but soundss like.

somewhat late with this response, but you can use either chip...st is cheaper and faster.
