View Full Version : A quick suggestion...

I have a quick suggestion I would like all members to implement. It is very simple yet very powerful. Many member make use of their signature in creative ways but I would like to suggest you put your testing method in your signature. An example might look like this:

-----------------

Currently Testing: ROM 10, Atmega 128

or:

Currently Testing: Pansat 2700E with XXX.BIN

You can be creative but this small change will really improve this board I think. Members who do this properly might even earn some surprise Reputation points from a happy admin or mod

I would like to rehash this old thread as very few people are doing this. For the ones who are (and I see you) thanks. Reps for you. Keep in mind this helps not only with the search function but helps users know exactly what hardware you are running as well.

It also looks cool...

Example: http://forums.dsstester.com/vbb/showpost.php?p=252111&postcount=2

If the VIPs, Mods and other veteran testers did this, newbies would know who could help them out when they saw it!

I am " Re-Hashing " this thread of the Big Guy's here, due to the fact that recently, I have noticed quite a few newly joined member's at this site, that have been using IP Tracker's for sig's., IE : Danasoft Kind of tacky I think  Just my opinion

But it's up to each of his or her own to decide as to what they would like to use, so consider this just as a " HINT "

Thank You

Here's a thank u from a newbie. I also think it's a great way to know what types of setups are possible and what's commonly used by testers/ new trends.
