Hi all, I just got my Coolsat4000 Pro off Ebay and I have been checking out this site for the last 3 days. I have been trying to get it to work, but for some reason, I keep getting scrambled channels. I have looked for different loaders and now have the Coolsat Proloader v.2.1. but when I try to use it, it won't put any info into the browse box. I have also found 3 or 4 different ADD@'s ??????? Is that the channel list? I'm trying to get this done before the wife's birthday tomorrow and I can't seem to figure it out. I have version 1.34 detected on the Proloader but I can't get any channel list to download. Any clues as to what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help, links, step-by-step info, etc. :hat:

when you open up the coolsat pro loader there are " 3 " tabs running across the top, software , channels , keys . use the "channels" and make sure dot is checked to reciever then when you hit browse it opens your directory , then you find where you put the channel list you want to load .if you have not downloaded one look to the fta file section under channel list most lists will come with a legacy and a pro version choose one and load to your coolsat

search " fta manual" you will find it here also search "coolsat" i would estimate
one hour of reading and as long as you have a dish pointed already you could be watching t.v. in a hour and a half !!
your tech is a scammer looking to make a quick buck, how much does he want to charge you ?, if you don't mind me asking :mellow:

Thanks Skunker for the advice and help. I finally figured out how to get the channels to download/upload into my box. Now I just have to find the most recent update for it so I can get all the info on the channel list. Most of the channels say no information on the guide, but after I click on one and the channel comes in, it sometimes updates the guide list for the channels right around that area. (Ex. I click on channel 326 and it comes in, a few minutes later, it seems like there is info for 326, 327, 328, etc...) Then when I go to the next page of channels, it says no info again. Then I go back to the page prior and it once again says no information. Eventually, I'll figure it out (hopefully) and maybe it is just because I have an old list or something. Thanks again for the help and if you do know the newest bin for it, could ya send a link or something, please? Thanks again!

most channel lists out there have everything , but you cannot get everything
what you want to do is blind scan and what t/p you scan will match with the channel list , what matches with the list is what you can view

as far as the epg it updates all channels on a t/p that your viewing
