We are ready to begin our Christmas for Kids Fund Drive. Complete details are provided below by bdaski.

Here is basically how it will work:

If you want to put an item up for sale and have the proceeds go to the fund you can post your item for sale in the “Wanting to Sell” area at any time. The Buyer will contact me for payment details. When funds are received I will notify the seller and he will notify the buyer to arrange shipping.

If you want to auction an item or items please lets not have more than two auctions going at a time and lets keep them short (24 to 48 hours) so we will be able to auction off as many items as possible between now and the 15th of December.

Payment and shipping for auctioned items is the same as items for sale.

Please PM bdaski with items you want to auction. He will monitor how many items are up for auction at a time.

If you want to donate $$ please contact me for payment information.

We will try our best to keep a running total of funds received and who they were received from. This will also be posted in this area but not in this thread.

Last year at DssTester we held a Christmas Auction For The Kid's.

With the help of some excellent member's here, We where able to accumulate $ 1,000.00 for such cause, and hopefully we will be able to either match this amount, or even raise more fund's this year, by doing so.

There have been a lot of new member's that have joined this site as of recent, and it will help you out by viewing the above posted link, and give all a better understanding as to what went on last year when we held this event.

This year we will do another and the start date is this Friday and will continue to Dec 15 2005.

We will be looking for donated products from our member's here, and as well as from our Sponsors of this site to auction off and help raise fund's for this event.

So if there are any member's that can contribute in their own way by doing the above, please feel free to contact myself, bdaski or Chuck, with what you may have to donate on behalf of this cause.

Shipping charge's for such item's that have been auctioned off will be paid for by the winning bidder of such item, unless other wise posted, by the person whom is sending out the donated item to the wining bidder.

Donator's of such items can send out the item or items directly to the winning bidder immediately after confirmation of such item being paid for in full.

Confirmation of such will come from either Chuck or I by posting in the forums or by pm

Any winning bidder on any donated item can pay by the methods such as Cash, paypal or U.S money order .Contact Chuck for payment arrangements.

All Payment's / Donation's of any kind, must be supplied with a tracking # and that includes the item's that have been sent out to the winning bidder.

At the end of this Auction / Donation drive, all fund's that have been collected will be sent out by Chuck.

We will also be accepting cash donation's, via paypal and or U.S money order

We will post here when any cash donations are received by our Members

This is a post from Protech-equip. I was an avid member of this forum until I decided to damage the community and these very forums in several ways. One of these was by spreading unfounded rumours and lies about the admin here. Another was be editting hundreds of posts I made here with some useless text. The ironic thing is that I actually made a lot of money selling various pirate devices through this very website.

I could have easily chosen to email the admin and ask him to zero out the IP's or even delete my account but decided I would damage the forums and talk shit about the people here instead.

I should be ashamed of this but am likely not.

We have more items donated than expected so the Fund Raiser will now end on Sunday the 18th. :D

The Christmas for the Kids Fund Raiser is now over. A few people have not sent or I have not received funds from.

Those that have not paid up please do so as soon as possible and by this Wednesday at the latest.

Since we continued the auction a bit longer than planned and are awaiting payments I will have to do the contribution through paypal and use paypal as a receipt for now to show where money went.

Not a big deal.


This years event was a huge success and you can all be proud to be Members of a site that tries to help others in need.
