Ok guys first off I joined this site a little while ago and have been reading up until today to try and get as much info absorbed as I possibly could. (and there is tons of info on this site thanx to everybody who put time and effort in  ). So I recently got a Dish 500 Dual legacy to put on the roof and I believe I am going with the coolsat 4000 for receiver (other recommendations are welcome). I know I need a switch for this type of dish, I was looking through some things I had laying around in my house and saw a DX Antenna 2-way Divider (SED-772) (5-2050MHz) It has an in w/ 2 outs. I didn't see this on any of the FAQ's does anyone know if this will work? If not no big deal I know which type to get (just trying to save he 10 bucks if I don't need to spend it). I also am trying to get a motor to install on the dish as well (apparently from my readings it is well worth the trouble) Basically I will continue to read all the FAQ's and Tuts, I just wanted to know if this setup was ideal for a first time user and if anybody had any tips or input on how to make this a smooth install it would be greatly appreciated. Also other than e-bay and the site sponsor any other good places to buy the receiver and other equipment at? Thank you all in advance for the help:beer:

Hey, just want to say thanx to both of you for posting a reply  got myself the right switch yesterday (SW21). So instead of hooking up the rec to your pc you just flash the card w/your computer and then hook that up to your rec and flash? It does sound a bit easier, when you bought your 2 pansat's did they come w/ a card reader and all the things you would need? Also where did you purchase it from? My main concern is I want to be able to upgrade when the time comes. Thanks again for all the help!
