View Full Version : Strange Channels Behavior

When I finally got all of my channels coming in, I decided to download the channel list to my computer so I could take a look at it and modify the channel names. After doing this, I noticed something kind of odd. For example, there is a large block of channels that should be coming from (Dish Pro converted) sat 119w, frequency 13274, transponder 8. This same block of channels is coming in on frequency 13233 on my coolsat. As far as I know, that frequency doesn't exist. This is a major reason no pre-made channel lists work on my coolsat.

Just curious as to why this may be happening.

I have a coolsat 4000 pro. my antenna settings are not 11250 like i have read, but 11200 committed to 1 (119) and 2 (110). I am getting a very strong signal as well (97%). Not sure if those settings affect things.

Thanks for the assistance!!

Well, everytime I had the setting at 11250 I received some funny signals. First of all, I had to use committed values of 2 (119) and 4 (110). Also, at the top right of the antenna settings screen no matter which sat i was hitting (either 119 or 110) it displayed 110 West at the top. When I moved it to 11200 and committed the sats to 1 (119) and 2 (110), at the top right of the screen I would get 119 West for the 119 Sat and 110 West for the 110 Sat which seems to be as it should be.

I am getting many, many channels without any issues, but the funky frequency values are a bit confusing. And, they are preventing me from using pre-made channel lists.
