have not sat down to watch anything really but prob will watch rome this weekend, tonight ? anyways noticed a slight freeze when i was messing with
the audio button on the remote , watched a few min of monster in law in spanish, dont know why i do these silly things but did notice a slight freeze :blink:

i installed a small fan at back of fta and raised fta an inch so that air could
circulate thoughout unit. hope this helps ,it did for me.

good call gamb heat is said to cotribute to freezing and pixelization

Well, I respect all the answers but I do not agree, and if that is the cause then we are talking about not a good product and as far as I know we all said that they are great.

the box was never meant or designed for what it is currently being used for !

but i have read if you turn the vol down below 10% on the coolsat and use the volume on your T.V. this will elliminate the freezing ? don't really know
very little freezing here

volume does help also! channel list is setup like dish and i like that.
