Well fellow testers, after months and months of pain of suffering with losing everything on N1 and LOTS and LOTS of reading and research on FTA, I decided to take the plunge and I ordered a pansat 3500s last friday.
Today is Wednesday, Receiver arrived at 2pm.
My thoughts were ok, now the either the fun or the nightmare begins. :blink: :(
I got home from work at 4pm. After dilly dallying here and there and reviewing ALL the setup info posted here including the info relative to what lnbs work or don't work, I was up watching TV and sipping a cold one by 5:00 and that included going up on my roof, remounting and repointing my dishes!!! :D :D :D :beer:
I am pointed at 110/119 with a fat boy legacy lnb mounted to a charlie500 dish and at 61.5 with a standard legacy lnb mounted to a standard 18" dish all going into a 4x1 diseq switch.
All the info I needed to get FTA going was found right here, you guys and gals are awesome!!!
Props to OneHipGirl, Mas521ca, Manteca, El_vaquero, and all my other peeps that contribute their knowledge.
