i am thinking of purchasing a digiwave receiver either 7000 or 7200? any recommendations? i'd like to know if one firmware works on one model would it work on the other? also, in the event of key changes or bin changes, which model would be easier to find a solution for? thanks!

I have a Fortec Lifetime Ultra, a Pansat 2500A and a XDream 9000 (digiwave 7000) by far the digiwave is the least user friendly, however not difficult if you follow the info step by step. After a few times it gets eaiser.
From investigating there are certain bins that will work on both the 7200 and the 7000 but you must find the correct bin to do so. As for support this was the last of the receivers that I own, to find a solution for.
Hope this helps

Now ive had pretty much had the same fortec star& pansat,And just pickt-up a DG7200S.reason being Common Interface, takes not only Key codes but Cards,Plus the 7200s takes the 7000 software(firware). Now as far as the 7000 taking the 7200s firmware? ive seen problems. At Digiwave.ca or digiwave inc You can view the pro's and con's.LATE:cool:
