Coolsat has confirmed the release of its SUPER BIN. Thou the date has not been confirmed, it's expected to happen between now and someday. The countdown has begun but it's unsure when (if) it will end.
Main features of the new SUPER BIN :
EPG :
Probably the most requested feature, the EPG now will be fully functional with the new bin. Now, when you press the EPG button on your remote, your receiver will pop a message telling you to go to ww.titantv.com and upon entering your zipcode you will be able to get a full EPG.
B3V :
Yes - the new bin will work with 82 and 91. No channels will be visible at this time, however you will be able to use your Coolsat as an excellent dish pointing tool to locate 82 and 91.
Channel change :
The new bin will include a $5.00 discount on your next Coolsat purchase, so you can have 2 receivers on at the same time, and therefore you can change channels much faster. No more waiting for one receiver to change channel, as you will be able to use 2 remotes on 2 different receivers (2 hands also required for this operation).
Picture quality :
The new SUPER BIN will improve the picture quality dramatically, using the new S.M.A.R.T (Sistematic Manipulation / Adaptation of Recycled Technology) system. Experts say that after flashing your Coolsat receiver, the picture quality should be comparable to the Blackbird running N2 at this time.
Manual keys entry :
Your Coolsat will then allow you to use your own keys ! First you will need to take your receiver to a locksmith and have a deadbolt lock installed. Then you will be able to use your own keys anytime you wish to access your Coolsat.
Autoroll :
The new bin has indeed AutoRoll. Every 3 days, the AutoRoll will post a message on Coolsat forums delaying the release of the new bin for another 5-7 days. No user intervention is need (or accepted) at any time. The Autoroll will make sure that the new bin promisse keeps been renewed automatically.
