:mad: Help!!!!

Anyone have some ideas about how to fix the fortec lifetime ultra. I bought it about 2 months ago ( it was never load any N2 bin files yet.) . I tried many time to load the 282t bin. file with Fortecstar STB Updater v3.31 but it didnot work. The STB keeps fail and retry. I check the connection of cable. The cable is ok. I don't know what happen to my reciever. Please, post some help.

you need to post what went wrong
fix what? flash? signal? channels?
there is no way to help you without knowing what it said after it fail to program
did it go nigth ridering?
just fail and dont get any ligths at all?
tell us what it does so we can go from there

let the members find out or try to understand your problem since there is not much to go from if you are not specific in what kind of problem you have

When the flash is faliure, it caused by:

1. Wrong serial cable, Fortec use the straight though cable, not Null serial cable.

2. check you comm port setting.

3. Make sure you are unzip the updater/loader program, do not run the loader from the zip file.

i haVE EXACTLY SAME PROBLEM WITH MY FORTEC............I AM DOING SOME TESTING AND I WILL LET U KNOW
