Help, I just got a new 3500s, downloaded "Pansat 3500S Release 01[1].10.05.zip"
unzipped the file, copied the bin file to SD card, inserted SD card in to 3500, went in to SD menu, flashed with new bin file.

followed the included instructions, setup my antenna, I have a directtv triple LNB dish, picked echostar7, found a bunch of channels, but can't view anything with a $ in front. What did I do wrong?

Hi MAS521CA,

I'm helping shengte (friend of mine)configuring his 3500S because we think might be the problem with his direct tv dish.
I got superdish 121 w/ DP34 switch and a 2500A which works great. With the latest bin I get pretty much everything.
But when I connect his 3500S, signal strength and guality are great (sam as my 2500A) and do blind scan, set the default key, but all the channel still "scrambled or bad channel"
So we can really use some help.

Thanks in advance :)

DTV dish, it doesn't mater, as long you pointing to Dishnet 110 or 110, that should be OK.

You you know what type of LNB it it? If it is DP type LNB, you might have to converting the horizontal to Vertical.

Also, when you using SD card to update you box, you have to formating the SD from the 3500 box first, then C/P the 118C bin to the SD card.

Thx MAS521CA,

1. Superdish should be 2 x DBS LNB/freehorns and one FSS LNB/freehorn.
2. the SD was not formated using the 3500S, but i do see on 118 version on the installation menu. do you mean that even though that 118 was successfully installed, but because the SD card was not formated by 3500S the key was not loaded to the 3500S. Because the messages is very similar to those days when we have had the N-2 code or no autoroll.
