Morning :

Searching I found some posts that mention digital audio, my queston is if we can use the S/PDIF coaxial digital output conection that my pansat has to conect it to the digital input (Coaxial) on my HomeTheater ? Is there something that has to be done on the receiver to have this working ?? This because yesterday I connected the cable to the HomeT and nothing came out of it, I say this because if something would've come out a Blue led would've been lit.

My HomeT has 2 digital input conection (Coaxial and Optical) The optical I connected to my DVD player and the coaxial I connected to the back of my pansat.

The pansat only has a coaxial output.
Is there something i'm missing in the process ??

Hoe you can help me !

Thanxs

You need to use a channel list that has the AC3 audio pids added or add the pids yourself. Only certain channels carry the AC3 feed like PPV, HBO, etc. When you tune to an AC3 channel push the audio button (speaker icon) on your remote and select AC3.

Check out Dido-smiths channel list here, it will explain in more detail.

Mel :

Now I can hear real sound out the receiver. The only difference i saw between the Dido's list and my downloaded list from the receiver is that my list was missing all the values from the NID Column, don't know what this value is but it worked.

Thanxs for all your support.
