I am considering buying a FTA receiver.
Ariza 700 or Dreambox seem to be the popular choices. Why?
I read that there was a channel switch a few monthes ago, do these receiver get those channels?
Which one is easier to use, setup and operate on a daily basis without headaches-I am new to this
Do they get channel menus?
PPV, Sports, HBO, etc etc or not at all.
I have seen a wide range in prices why is that?

I'd recommend a Pansat 2700a or a Coolsat PRO. The Pansat is a nice easy to use receiver but the EPG (guide) really kind of sucks. The Coolsat is much nicer and the guide is more user friendly. Either way both models are easy for a beginner that doesn't mind reading the how to for a bit before having at er. They get PPV, HBO, Sports etc etc. If your in the US the site sponsor on the right can take care of you pretty quick and he has free shipping.

Or wait the week out and see how these new Syndrome cards make out.. Might be better bang for your buck or maybe not who knows.
