When you scan a sat like Echo7(choose from the nenu of sats and the ird), if the dish is in fact for Echo8, it will show good reception and good quality but what will the ird in fact store? 110 or 119 channels list.
I ask that question because I use a old DTV eliptical dish and it has 110, 119 and 101 lnb on it. For the last 5 days all 3 sats were working fine but today, I lost Echo7 I did already several scan and even changed the lnb source and always have the same channels comming on. I lost A&E and discovery channels and can't get them back.
