Thanks. Have you try power OFF/ON switch from the read panel? Have you try power up the receiver byitself? Have you try refalsh receiver? patra 10-06-2005, 05:41 AM The on off switch does nothing. How dod you power up receiver by itself? Will it flash? no lights at all in front. Thanks for your response. Mas 10-06-2005, 05:56 AM How dod you power up receiver by itself? Thanks for your response. What I mean was, with nothing hook up, just a receiver by it self, turn on switch, then powe on with remote contrlol. I notice, that you have PanTec not PanSat/ PanTec is a clone, the Official Pansat bin will KILL the CLONE receiver. patra 10-06-2005, 06:04 AM I used the clone Bin and it was working for a week. I tried moving the receiver to another room and when I put in the cable by accident all the lights went off and it has been dead ever since. I have tried everything. dishmonkey 10-06-2005, 07:59 AM You wanted to switch rooms but you accidently hooked up the cable??? How the heck were you gonna watch it, just sit it on the dresser and hoped it was UHF?? Just unhooking it from the sat feed and hooking it up in another room won't do anything to it. Are you sure the switch on the back is on? Seems very odd... Get the factory flash and flash it back then put on the clone bin again. patra 10-06-2005, 08:07 AM My room has a cable and sattelite wires, I got them mixed up. I swear it just went blank and all lights went off . Maybe I fried it with the cable? Can I flash it even if it wont turn on? dishmonkey 10-06-2005, 08:13 AM ROFLMAO! It doesn't matter if the cables were mixed up. Un mix them and make sure you have them on the right inputs. Make sure to plug the receiver in to. ;) Take a deep breathe and relax a little patra 10-06-2005, 08:39 AM I'll give it a try when I get home. Thanks for the advice. sirmike_dad 11-08-2005, 11:38 PM hey guys i got a pantec ultra 2500 i put a clone kill on it and now dead i did this receiver before jtag but i lost the jtag info on it this receiver has a 12 pin header on it 2 rows of 6 pins what i need is the pinout of header to my homebrew jtag thanks stevedave66 11-09-2005, 01:57 PM In areas with digital cable, there is voltage on the cable line (actual cable signal coming into the house, not the generic "cable" name given to RG-6 type wire) which may have possibly had an adverse effect on your receiver. stevetaylor 11-13-2005, 05:47 PM sirmike dad the pantec pin out is in the fta files section for pantec check this thread http://forums.dsstester.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=42152 |
