when you get ready to load the channel list wait till the channel apears in screen or it will mess the boot file and look like if it been fried

I think I messed up my boot file because my fortec looks like it has been fried. Is there anyway to recover the boot file?

just write the last known bin and is back to normal

I tried reloading the last known bin but all i get is 'flash update fail...' from the updater. Is there anything else I need to do?

did you load the channel list or one of the new bins like the 280?

i didnt load any of the channel bins or anything like that. im kind of a newbie so if you can walk me through it I would appreciate it. What should I do first right now?

download the fta manual from here

read it and then download the files you need fron the fta files secction
make a post with your questions after you understand the basics at a new tread so you can be helped individualy
but make sure to read other treads related to your problem or question
there migth be an answer without having to post if you use the search button

Do you happen to have or know where I can get a channel list for the Ultra for sats 110 and 119?

I have looked all over and can't seem to find one.

if you dont want the 121/148 channels just erease the list in menu
as for the 110 & 119 thelineup is great and has the porno channels

that is the old dido channel list. Is it updated to current or its still missing N2 channels

in post #8 is not the dido channel list
dido has lots of ac3 (dolby digital) adapted channels
the file i posted has the chance of getting all the channels with both spanish and english
all the channels are not current since there has been some changes but not that important
it has all ppv sports and premium channels at the rigth settings

i'll say it is a good list to start editting for any changes
i had a chance to try dido package and to be honest i didn't like it
that's why i decided to search for a better list to fit my needs

btw if you are missing any channels just do a transponder scan find the rigth channel and erase the non wanted channels keep just what you need
that way is not a full scan

if you want any particular channel or missing some let me know so i can improve the list
