Loaded the file September 7 and watched all evening. Came home from
work today and the machine is black. I rebooted everything and its still dark.
Mine is a genuine fortec lifetime ultra with a build date of Dec/ 04. Looks like
its not safe yet. :sad:

do you have private support to get the file before is released?
this release is from today look at the date year 05 month 09 day08
do not post negative to the file if you haven't tested
i have and it is working but no porno yet
check mass link and try if you want ... have it working for 20 minutes
but if you want i'll post updates tomorrow and see how is working

what's the difference between this one and 2.79??? does this mean that the v. 2.79 will stop working???

i dont know both worked in my unit and the only diference that i see is less freeze time in some channels
almost 3 hours and still up

Ola just loaded the al7bar 279 and it appears to be working, watched and changed channles for 15 min then shut off for 5 then back on and stuff was there. Will try it again tomorrow and let you know if my lifetime ultra bites the bullet or not. Tattoomanz

i did that before writting Al7bar FTA Ultra_050905_279_api(NTSC) 3 days ago and then
i just wrote Al7bar FTA Ultra_050908_280_api(NTSC) on top
i just wrote all the channels and did a scan in satelites and everything went well
make sure you have the rigth cable and the rigth bin here

now i got the nfl (154) channels lmao
working without freeze on screen that's what i seen diferent from 279 to 280

but are you sure you have a real or fake fortec?
anyway try to write the write the bin Lifetime Ultra_050519_272_api(NTSC) or older bin so you can get it back to life and let us know what is the outcome

response whatsoever. Yes, its a genuine Fortec Ultra Lifetime. If its any
help, the first time I tried to reboot after it failed, all the lights on the
front panel flashed once and now there is nothing.

I'm having the same issues as orca1993 after loading 280 this morning. My receiver went blank after 15-20 minutes. Re-download attempts fail.

Im new to this so bear with me purchased a brand new fortec yesterday. Spent 8 hours setting it up. (So much reading so little time) First tried the 279bin and am now running the 280 bin. Everything running great except for the wrong time and missing channels. Now when i load a channel list with gtb the channels show up but keep getting encrypted channel. If i do a scan for ech 6/8
and echo 7 all works great but missing a couple of channels i'd really love to have (eg. sci fi, diesney) Can anyone give me a d=heads up if ithere is anything else i can do?

once is loaded it check what other channels you'r missinor just do a scan in transponder

After flashig 279 bin fortec ultra lifetime is dead in 5 minutes. No lights and blank TV. Is there any way I can recover this? Please help
