View Full Version : Blackbird N2 File??
tyrader2000 09-05-2005, 02:43 PM Has anyone found, seen , used, or located a N2 file for the Blackbird St1000. I have read that theer is one out there with EPG and autoroll that works with N2 but I can't find it. Many other sites are so busy now you can't even check them out. If anyone has this file could you please post it here. There are many of us BB users still out there that could use the help. Yes, I also have 2 DVB card/computer setups running but I hate to see these BB sit. Thanks in advance, TY
steve121 09-05-2005, 03:20 PM dude, for now a BB is a doorstop....
keep it around but don't hold your breath... the source code for that machine is not public which makes doing an n2 bin very difficult, i know a few people are trying.. if you plan on watching something soon get another brand of fta....

Where'd you read that? I'd like to take a look. PM me the addy.
Without the source code, methinks it is a doorstop, too ... for now.
big sho 09-08-2005, 11:17 AM theres one in the files thread
FrankCandid 09-08-2005, 12:36 PM Thanks man. If it's the digiwave file, I found it. Saw nothing there about the auto roll and epg, though. Did I get the right thread?
tyrader2000 09-10-2005, 04:45 PM Frank, The info about the working epg and autoroll with N2 file came from a dealer who I had been checking out. Guess what, their home page is now gone "Offshoresat". In their e-mails responses to my questions they claimed to have it all. I never saw any mod at any site ever state that their files worked so I did not buy in. As for the files from real sources I have put out an open challenge to other testers to work together and get a file for the BB St1000. There are some great coders out there who love the game as much as I so I hope that soon we will see something to work with. Keep posting tests and results and share the information. Later, TY

TY,
Go figure, huh?
Yup, those coders are out there but busy with other stuff besides the BB it seems.
I've C&P'd some stuff from another site into the General FTA Files Section that might be worth a look regarding a bin for another FTA tried on a BB.
I'm sure you're aware but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
Anyway, cheers.
steve121 09-12-2005, 02:06 AM i'm not sure if people are getting that a digiwave is mapped differently than a bb, while you can load a digiwave bin into a bb it will not work, the boot up will err immediately, every time....

Exactly. That's what my C&P in the Files Section indicates.
ddean 09-12-2005, 03:16 PM ive tried all the files for every reciever on the blackbird and ive about worn out my j-tag so if you would happen to run up on something all bb owners im sure would greatly appreciate it
tyrader2000 09-15-2005, 10:03 AM ddean, I know what you mean about the Jtag back from GLS. I am trying to use the BB factory flash and add the decoding to is since it allready has the epg. Hopefully there are greater minds than mine who can put this together, but I will keep trying and post any positive results. Later, TY
