I am very new to FTA's. My roomate at college got one last year through a friend, that was already programmed, and I liked it, so I decided to try one. I ordered a coolsat 4000 pro, and now I'm lost. I don't really understand how to program it at all.

My apartment had a Direct TV KTI multisat sattelite dish, with 3 lnb's I was wondering, if I could use that to pick up a sattelite that will work with my coolsat, and how I would accomplish it. Any help would be appreciated.

SKRyan, I am hopening to get my coolsat Monday, I had a forum friend to tell me about the Coolsat receiver testing manual for the 4000 and pro models, it is writen by jcghound version 050511. It is a very simple guide to follow it has every thing to guide you through programing the receiver, I think you can find the manual on this forum if not pm me and I will send it to you. What I want to know is about the CoolSat. Is it Nagra 2 compatable?

Someone fill me in. I have the pansat and have been testing since the h cards.

I dont want to buy something that I can make a paper weight out of in two months.
