The most common reason to lose all PPV channels at the same time is the Expiration date. Easy way to fix that is to down load a program called Nagra Date/Time Converter v1.04.
Unzip and start the program. Enter a new date under Standard (mm/dd/yyyy), be sure to enter the new date in this format mm/dd/yyyy, then click on the to Nagra button. Now the program should have created the date you entered into hex. Now enter your new expiration date in the $0B string in NagraEdit. Here's a quick run down how you do that.
1) Start NagraEdit v3.0
2) Hit Ctrl+R (Read Card)
3) Click on Data Space
4) Click on the $0B PPV Tier (37) under Data Space
5) To the right enter your new date in the Event Expiration Date field.
6) Hit Crtl+W (Write to Card)
That's it..your PPV should be back in biz.
The other common reason you lose only portion of your PPV is due to the PPV ID's going out of range. The problem could be either the PPV Lo or the PPV Hi. How you determine which ID it is, is by noting which channel(s) in the guide is asking you to purchase. If the Porn channels are asking you to purchase then your problem is the PPV Lo. If you get the purchase nag on the Event PPV's or PPV channels high in the guide then it's the PPV Hi ID that's causing problem.
How you go about fixing the PPV Lo is by tuning to the first Porn channel in the guide and while in the Guide press Info on your remote. In the description you should see a number in parentheses, ie (10235). Go through all of the porn channels and note the lowest number you find. Take that number and convert it to HEX using Windows Calculator. At the moment the lowest PPV ID have been in the porn channels...this could change so just keep that in mind.
As for the PPV Hi the highest ID's are normally the Event PPV's. However, currently the highest legit PPV ID is the NHL PPV. Unfortunately you cannot get the PPV ID for that channel through the guide, you have to purchase it to get the PPV ID. I will give you that NHL PPV ID. it's 169D9. This ID is already converted to HEX…enter it as is in NagraEdit. This ID has been working for about a year and no Event or any other PPV ID has gone beyond that PPV ID. So you should be able to use it without any problems of missing channels. But, that could change so keep that in mind.
How you do that is pretty much the same steps as above, you would enter your PPV Lo value where it says PPV Lo, same with teh PPV Hi.
So it's pretty easy to figure out why your losing the PPV's…and it's even easier to fix.
