I have a coolsat pro i live in Northern California i can't get some Los Angeles locals such as Kcal and a few other i have 82 signal on them but it says scramble channel i have( dishnet pro 500 not legacy lnbs) i am stuck can someone please help

I have a silly question, but I don't want to assume anything. You ARE trying to get them off of 119? I notice that many LA locals are on 101 through DTV. An FTA receiver will not bring in a DTV signal. If you're pointed at 119, maybe your channel list is wrong. Did you try scanning 119 for the missing locals?
