I have a new 288-02 card, which i believe makes it an open ROM3. Now, in about two hours, i'm planning on setting up my dishes, which means i need to see the signal meter on the TV. Can i do this without inserting the card? And if not, will inserting the card put it into the stream and lock it? Thanks!
