in 1 word: HOW?
I have a 2700 bev ird that was never suscribed whit switchable locked eprom and tsop.
i also have an unlocked ROM3.
Can anyone tell me how to transfer from bev to dish whit this?
I read that letting the ird powerd down in dish stream will update it to dish.
Any help would be apreciated, especally from anyone that did this sucsesfully.

I think what you have to do is first get the atenna pointed in the right direction, see if you can pick up the "dish" signal...
As for powering it down in the stream I've never heard of that, but I've never tried to do BEV either....

If you can get the "dish" signal then I would try programing the card with the proper software, and giving it a try...

I know that the cards can be used for either service.... :) good luck..

yoppy i just set mine up and all i am getting is just a few. if you find some thing please post it.

Yoppy if you are useing a rom 3 then wbinfo32 may fix your prob with the channels ;)

Can anyone point me to a program doc for doing dish cards. I just received a complete system from a friend that went to DTV. They were sub cards and they have the little number 288-01 at the bottom. I need some doc that tells me how to program them myself.

What prog are you useing with you programer?
Have you got a blocker file?
Do you have the tsop and the eeprom ready to lock in your ird. "last thing you should do" ..where are you at in this??

The original card was saved but it was a subbed BEV card so it's not helping

Mostly Freetalk1.3 but i'v been using xCel23 from win2K and i'ts working fine

I used codegen102's blocker then the autoroll blocker that was posted to this forum erlyer now i'v also tried riskyblocker3 (from xCel23)

Yup TSOP and EEPROM are locked and loaded
The guide shows the dish logo insted of bev so it should be ok. I will add a reset switch on eeprom tonight.

I dicoverd from xCel23 help file that every card as the mark of watever company it came from and that this mark cannot ber changed!
So my cam is marked for BEV! it might be it!?!

Yoppy this is what i did:
NOW I AM A NEWBIE DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK
* nagraedit to read the card and save a master and to get the ird and boxkeys "it has them in black but i just clicked and it shoud them " **write them down and put them some where safe. you may need them later"
*Take a ****copy**** of you card image and bring it up in wbinfo32 "wbinfo32 is a little odd to use at first but just play areound with your copy. you will know that you have it pulled up ok when you can read you box key and ird in the last tier **ird may be backwards but more on that later when you get it back to nagraedit** one of the buttons at the top will let you clean the ppv. end one of the tears will let you select the channel ties that you want *dont just select all, you will not get them all on the card and dont want them all* onece you have selectted the tiers you want apply the t3m and the tiers once you get this done click the stoplight and then save this file**
*back to nagraedit and load it. look at you ird and make sure it did not rev the ird # if it did go back to wbinfo32 and at the last tier and click th bot for rev ird and make the change . then hit the redlight. save the file and back to nagra to vfy the right ird. once you have it ready apply the riskblk to the file. load it to the card and ulock you chips, power up to take the update when all you channels are up lock them back and watch tv.>>>
