Hi I have a dish net system I purchased 4 years ago and the card is a 288-01 I stopped service last week and I'm a newbie to all this what can we do with this system emulation? or what? any info or help would be appreciated.

Apears you have a lucky rom2 card, which are programmable....

Get a dish programer (3.68mhz), the latest dish files: freetalk1.3 , blocker/activation software (I'm currently using nagrablocker62,and newe3m03 casue I have rom3's),the new autoroll fix for rom2 and 3 cards, and that should get you started :)
With a good blocker all you basically have to do is load it and forget it, except lately they been hitting autoroll pretty hard, it's still down on the avr3's.....But the fix for the cards is working and mine are rolling... :)
