Hello, I'm new FTA but I'm very happy with my purchase thus far. About a month ago I purchased a Coolsat Pro reciever, well I finally got settled in my new house and figured it was time to install it. I have a DTV dish with the triple LNB, after setting up the dish I aim it for Echostar 7 and picked up a 88% signal which was good enough for me. Next I flashed the reciever, it took a few tries but I finally got it to work. At this point I have about 300 channels but only 1 HBO, its called HBO CS I think, oh and I get HBO Latino but I dont speak spanish so that really does me no good. Does anyone know if either one of these HBO's recieves boxing after dark? My uncle who has been using the Pansat for his free to air for about a year now tells me my LNB wont work for 110 and 119 as it has a built in switch, apparently I need to buy an older style duel LNB with two individual LNB's on the end, then run a couple of short coaxal cables into a Diseq switch, then one long coaxal into the house, does this sound correct? Currently my dish is pointed to 110 with a good signal, however if I go to 119, the signal is very low so I think I have to play around with the dish some to get 119 to recieve. One final thing, when I goto blind search and do a blind search for channel 119 I recieve over 300 channels however nearly all of them are identical to what I just downladed on 110, at first I thought I was recieving both signals but the channels seem the same however there are a few new ones in there too. Any help you guys could offer to this newbie is apriciated.

Thanks

Adam

dont everyone answer all at once now... lol I fixed my dish... as it turns out the LNB had to be replaced along with a 4 in one switch... also I paid $40 for a good flash subscription for a year to help with good software and tech support... Many on here tell others not to pay for the software as its free but take my post for example, its been up for 2 weeks and not one reply, I would rather give someone a little cash to help me out rather than beg people on the forums for help who dont want to give it.

thanks for nothing

Use some paragraphs and get to the point...and I bet you'll get an answer right away.

I read about half of your post and stopped...it's kinda difficult to read, the way you structured your post, makes it appear to be a major run-on sentance and I think most people didn't even bother reading it.

At any rate, your Uncle seems to know what he's doing, I woudl suggest you ask him first next time. ;)

Can you tell me where to get the information on flashing my unit.

I have it connected to the dish and I can get the FTA ok. Now I'm hungry for some TV but don't know where to start?
